Teacher Schedule

The details

There are 7 practice spaces in Kula Village and 2 at High Camp. Every day there are four class time slots.  Classes range in length from of 90 minutes (most weekend classes) to 2 hours (most Thursday and some Friday classes). Ticketholders may choose 3 classes per day, but we'll also throw you a few "open" bonus classes.

We know that practitioners of every level will attend the festival. We'll offer three different levels (basic, open and int/adv) of classes during each time slot, and most teachers will teach all class levels. Everyone from brand new practitioners to yoga teachers will have the deepest possible experience.

Thursday and Friday are day long intensives. You could be practicing 6 to 8 hours each day, or you could break up your classes with a a kayaking expedition or a spectacular hike up to High Camp for a dip in the pool/hot tub at 8,000 feet. Friday night the music, dancing and madness begins. On Saturday and Sunday, official scheduled classes begin at 8 am and run until 3:30 pm. But don't shower quite yet. Grab a chai and revive yourself for the big yoga & music classes - this is when we ALL leave the studio vibe behind, throw our mats down in front of the mainstage and let loose with the likes of Shiva and Moby.

In the late afternoon it'll be time for the well-deserved shower, cat nap and change of clothes. The music and dance parties run until the wee hours on Saturday and late enough on Sunday to make calling in sick on Monday a legitimate option. You may not be hung over, but your sore body and satisfied soul will be grateful.
