squaw valley Squaw Valley provides the perfect natural setting to meditate, contemplate, or just get away from the concrete and crowding of our large cities. Take the cable car to the top of the mountain and you can wander for hours across ridges and meadows where there aren't even any trails. Or go for a five minute hike out of the Village and you'll find yourself on an immense network of paths interspersed with streams, rock climbs and wildlife. Come get away. |
The word Wanderlust dates back to the 19th century, the age of Romanticism. People across Europe and the US reacted to the first signs of urban sprawl, overpopulation and industrialism by losing themselves in nature, the visual arts, music and emotion. We feel that Wanderlust's creative and spiritual community is just a large family of modern Romantics, people for whom nature acts as a muse.
