![]() | Team Yogaslackers Weekend afternoons
The YogaSlackers are an eclectic bunch of yogis that are known from their yoga poses done above ground on a slackline. They are extremely high spirited individuals with shared enthusiasm for the environment and a variety of practices including AcroYoga, hooping, climbing, adventure racing and eco-expeditions. Come play and Redefine your sense of Balance!
About Slacklining The easy way to describe slacklining is to say that it is like tightrope walking, but in truth it is quite different. Slackliners walk and balance above the ground on a piece of 1” flat tubular webbing (the kind that rock climbers use), tensioned between two solid anchor points. The webbing is very dynamic, so it stretches a bit. Tightropes are less dynamic, stiffer and a bit wider. The YogaSlackers have developed a style of yoga for the line; although it is very difficult to learn, the rewards are incredible! |
